Tara Packham will be a guest speaker at the online EFSHT Congress 2020 (http://fessh2020.com/) on September 1st to 4th.
In the session on “Neuropathic Pain” held on Thursday 3rd September 2020, Tara will compare desensitization and sensory re-education for neuropathic pain with associated treatment recommendations. In addition, she will discuss patient-reported outcomes for neuropathic pain and how they can help in treatment planning.
Tara is a dedicated teacher in different areas of rehabilitation. Her main topics are outcome measure development and the treatment of neuropathic pain and CRPS. She is a member of the International Research Consortium for CRPS.
Tara has over 25 years clinical experience in hand therapy, a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, and is a certified somatosensory pain therapist. She has published a vast number of scientific articles on various topics.
The 13th Congress of the European Federation for Societies of Hand Therapy (EFSHT) will be held online.
